Tourism Australia has been voted the ‘best destination’ marketeer at the annual World Routes in Chicago, praised for its successful collaborative approach to global aviation development.
“Tourism Australia is characterised by its extensive marketing activities and joint campaigns with more than 20 international airlines, as well as strong partnerships with Australia’s airports and state and territory tourism bodies,” Tourism Australia Minister for Trade and Investment, Andrew Robb said.
Mr Robb said tourism is one of Australia’s great strengths and lauded the collaborative approach adopted by Tourism Australia. He plans to strengthen Australia’s reputation as well as expanding the county’s aviation power.
