Talents & Productions brought a double dutch show to Doha for the FIP Padel World Cup 2026. From 2 to 7 November, Trio Jumpers, a male double dutch trio, performed in the tournament’s public village at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, on behalf of the Qatar Tennis Federation.
A world championship for national padel teams
The FIP World Cup, also known as the World Padel Championship, is the main national-team competition of the International Padel Federation. The 2026 edition brought together 32 national teams, 16 men’s and 16 women’s. It was the third time Doha had hosted the event, after 2021 and 2024. The Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex has also hosted the Qatar Major Premier Padel tournament since 2022.
Short double dutch sets throughout the tournament
The trio performed three times a day across all six days of competition. Each set lasted around five minutes, for a total of 18 shows. Short, repeated sets fit the rhythm of a tournament day: spectators come and go between matches, so each performance reaches a different part of the audience.
Double dutch is a jump rope discipline. Two long ropes are turned in opposite directions while one or more jumpers work inside them. The act depends on precise timing between the turners and the jumper and on fast, controlled footwork. Those qualities echo the reflexes and rhythm of racquet sports, which made a double dutch act a natural fit for a padel championship.
Entertainment for sports events and fan zones
As an international entertainment agency based in Monaco, Talents & Productions programmes acts for sporting events, from public villages and fan zones to sponsor activations. Sports-themed acts include a tennis juggler and a trampoline basketball show. For evening or darkened settings, the agency also offers a UV double dutch act.
