South East Europe: Russian Billionaire Builds A Hotel Worth 1.3 Billion Kunas

Following the recent sale of the Belvedere Hotel at public auction for 12.19 Million Euros, an investor Russian Billionaire Viktor Vekselberg prepares an investment of 180 Million Euros. That devastated facility which will be demolished and rebuilt from the ground up will after 20 years finally become alive.

Announcing the construction of a tourist complex which will cover 45.000 square meters, and the plan is the construction of high class hotel with support facilities and a concert hall with a view on Dubrovnik.  Otherwise, Belvedere is located at a position from which you can see the old town of Dubrovnik and Lokrum Island.

Prior to construction which could begin late this year or early next year, the investor will in cooperation with the local community announce tender for the best architectural solution and most likely bring one of the best brand from the hotel Industry, writes Večernji list.
