The World Food Travel Association (WFTA) and its Portuguese affiliate, APTECE, are pleased to announce the Association’s next World Food Travel Summit & Expo, which will take place in Estoril, just outside Lisbon, from 8-11 April 2015.
The Estoril Coast is known as the Portuguese Riviera and is home to grand hotels, stately mansions and striking seascapes. This coast has earned its reputation: it is the birthplace of the James Bond character; it is where European royalty were exiled during World War II; and it was where Nicolau Coelho landed, the first captain of Vasco da Gama’s armada to return from India; a historic past full of “glamour” reflected in the city’s ambience.
