Middle East: Jumeirah unveils Bandar Jissah plans

Jumeirah Group, the global hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has signed a management agreement with Saraya Bandar Jissah SAOH to operate a luxury resort near Muscat, the capital of Oman. Currently under development, the resort is scheduled to open in 2017, and will feature two hotels, one housing 206 rooms and the other 106.

In addition to facilities such as a 1,200 square-metre Talise spa, a dive centre and a number of high quality restaurants, bars and cafes, the resort will also include conference and banquet facilities to cater to the growing meetings and events sector in Oman.
