IAEE Accepting Nominations for New International Excellence Award

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) announced today the newest addition to its awards program, the IAEE International Excellence Award. The IAEE International Excellence Award recognizes an individual and/or organization who has made exceptional strides in creating, launching and managing an international event in the exhibitions and events industry on an international scale.

“In 2013, IAEE covered significant ground in expanding our international reach,” notes IAEE President and CEO David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA. “It became obvious fairly quickly that we have strong advocates across the globe – not just on IAEE’s behalf but for the exhibitions and events industry as a whole – and we are eager to recognize and encourage their efforts.”

Qualifications for this award include, but are not limited to, demonstrating significant development and/or improvement in the following areas:
• Exhibitor and attendee growth at an international show(s)
• Expansion of education opportunities in a particular region
• Industry advocacy across international borders
• Promotion of IAEE’s programs and presence on an international level
