The $185-million Cromwell hotel is scheduled to open on the Las Vegas Strip this spring and will have the first restaurant by TV personality Giada De Laurentiis. The boutique hotel, which will probably be among the smallest on the Strip, is a renovation of the former Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall, also known as the Barbary Coast, which closed in February 2013.
The property was originally going to be a Gansevoort hotel, but that deal fell apart in October and the hotel’s future remained uncertain.
According to the Los Angeles Times, The Cromwell will begin taking reservations on February 24 and will mix modern and classic French design in its 188 rooms and suites.
