Accor has recently opened the 338-room Pullman Shanghai South, which includes 11 meeting rooms, the largest of which has capacity for 1,200 people, as well as four bars and restaurants.
Recent additions also include the Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsaw in Malaysia, and the Pullman Saigon Centre and Pullman Danang Beach Resort, both in Vietnam.
The hotel chain will add a further 47 new hotels to its existing 32 properties in Asia by 2018, with the 2013 UNWTO World Tourism Barometer showing that tourist arrivals in South-East, North-East and Southern Asia will grow by approximately 7% over the next few years.
