Talents & Productions provided a fire show in Cannes for a Dubai-based perfume brand, hosted at a private villa on the French Riviera. The guest list brought together VIPs, press and influencers. Our fire performers presented an act combining fire juggling and fire dance, closing the show with a pyrotechnic finale.
When a brand invites journalists and content creators, the entertainment has two audiences. One is the guests in the room. The other is the people who will later see their photos and videos. Fire works well on both counts. Flames read clearly on camera, and a performance built on continuous movement gives guests a clear moment to watch and film without interrupting the flow of the event.
Rather than repeating a single technique, the performers worked with several different fire props, alternating between juggling and dance sequences. In the juggling passages, the flames are thrown, caught and passed while alight, and the precision and timing are the focus. In the dance passages, the performers use the flames to trace lines and circles around their bodies, which shifts the attention from skill to movement and shape.
The pyrotechnic finale gave the show a defined ending. It marked a clear transition back to the rest of the event rather than letting the performance simply fade out.
Private villas in Cannes give brands an intimate, controlled setting for VIP and press events, and outdoor grounds make it possible to programme fire acts that would not be allowed in many indoor venues. Talents & Productions regularly sources live entertainment for brand events in the area, from roaming welcome acts, as with our feather headdress performers at Vilebrequin Cannes, to fire performances like this one.
If you are planning a fragrance launch, a press evening or a private event and want a fire show or another live act, our team can build the programme around your venue and guest list. You can find more about our work as an entertainment agency on the French Riviera.
