Seminars organized by the German Convention Bureau for sustainability advisors in the events sector have been awarded the title of Project of the UN Decade in “Education for Sustainable Development,” recognizing the GCB’s efforts to promote green meetings.

“Seminars for sustainability advisors demonstrate in an impressive way what future-oriented education could look like,” said Professor Gerhard de Haan, chairman of the National Committee and of the Jury for the UN Decade in Germany. “The jury voted for the project because it explains how people can operate on a sustainable basis in a way we can understand.”
