Ithaa Restaurant (Maldives)

Ithaa Restaurant at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, the world’s first underwater restaurant, is located 16 feet below sea level.

What is unique about this venue is the 180 degree views of undersea life and coral gardens that are visible through the acrylic dome that encases Ithaa. The venue with a capacity of 14, can be privatized for corporate events.

The 6-course, gourmet set menu for dinner menu has an aperitif, amuse bouche, and appetizer. Other courses have exotic names like passion and cleanse.

Entrees include Maldivian lobster carpaccio and reef fish tartare. The dessert course that is called “indulge” offers decadent delights like Valrhona chocolate vantage and white chocolate praline.
