Our caricaturist designed “Big Heads” for Nice’s Carnival !

In the vibrant atmosphere of the renowned Nice Carnival, where creativity and spectacle converge, our caricaturist artist, Viktor, found himself at the heart of the festivities during the “King of the Cinema” themed celebration. This annual extravaganza, steeped in tradition and imagination, took on special significance in 2019 as Nice commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Victorine Studios, a historic landmark in the world of cinema on the French Riviera.

Amidst the glittering floats and dazzling displays that paraded through the streets of Nice, Viktor had the unique opportunity to lend his artistic talents to the creation of “big heads” icons for the procession. These larger-than-life caricatures, capturing the essence of beloved cinematic figures, added a touch of whimsy and charm to the carnival’s grand spectacle.

As 17 magnificent floats adorned with intricate designs and vibrant colors rolled past, accompanied by over 1600 dancers, artists, and musicians from across the globe, Viktor’s caricatures came to life in a mesmerizing display of creativity and artistry. From iconic Hollywood stars to beloved characters from the silver screen, each caricature was a tribute to the magic of cinema and the enduring legacy of the Victorine Studios.
