Milan, Monaco and UAE have been named as the top three destinations for meetings and events in EMEA in Pacific World’s latest Destination Index.

Milan has been named as the most popular destination amongst international event planners following a greater demand for meetings and incentives and an improved infrastructure, according to Pacific World.

The destination management company also attributed the city’s growing popularity to the Expo 2015 event, which takes place between 1 May and 31 October and is expected to welcome more than 20 million visitors.

Monaco and UAE emerged as the second and third most popular meeting destinations in the EMEA region.
