Dalda came on board as the main sponsor, accompanied by 93.5 RED FM as the radio partner, and Metro Vartha as the media partner. These sponsors received outdoor publicity and branding at the venue. The 2013 edition received the support of Incredible India.
The inauguration was done by Chief Guest of the evening, Malayalam cinema artist Mohanlal, actor Dileep and Shrikant Bhasi, Chairman of Carnival Group. Apart from the festivities of the day like fun games for children, stalls and food counters, a musical concert was staged by artists like Vijay Yeshudas, Gayathri Manjari, Ramya, Naresh Iyer and Job Kurian, and a dance performance was put up by the Fictitious dance group. Several actors from the South Indian film industry made their presence felt at the carnival.
