CIBTM 2014 concluded on Friday and was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing from September 17-19.
The tradeshow attracted 5,300 industry professionals from China and abroad and boasted an increased exhibition space (up by 33 per cent), 449 exhibitors representing 35 countries and regions and a record number of international hosted buyers.
The 424 hosted buyers enjoyed a pre-show tour of Beijing, taking in the Summer Palace, a rickshaw ride through the HuTong area and the Chinese Royal Gastronomy Museum.
CIBTM also presents a comprehensive lineup of suppliers, including destination management companies, destinations, convention bureaus, hotels, technology suppliers, cruises lines and MICE services.
