Trade Show Professionals Unite During 2013 Red Diamond Congress

The Exhibit & Event Marketers Association (E2MA) — formed last year when the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) merged with the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor Association (EACA) — recently concluded its second annual event: The 2013 Red Diamond Congress (RDC), which took place July 30-Aug. 1 in Chicago.

This year’s event attracted more than 200 industry professionals, including representatives from the CMO Council, the Exhibit Designers + Producers Association (EDPA), the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association (HCEA), the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO), the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) and several trade unions.

The event’s goal, according to E2MA, was to bring together disparate industry stakeholders for collaborative networking and education.
