Morgan Stanley postpones Shanghai event due to bird flu

Morgan Stanley has moved an investor event to New York in July due China’s bird flu outbreak earlier this year.

The annual forum was due to be held last week, from 21-23 May, for managers to showcase Asian hedge funds to investors, according to Bloomberg.

However, following health concerns over an outbreak of aviation flu in China earlier this year, some investors and managers declined to travel to Shanghai. The event will now take place in New York in July.
