Pacific World, the global destination management company (DMC), event management and professional conference organiser (PCO), has announced its expansion into the Middle East, with new offices in the UAE and Oman offering a full range of services to MICE clients across the Gulf region.
Pacific World has rapidly expanded from its Asian base in the last 18 months to establish a genuinely global footprint, helped by its joint venture with TUI Travel, one of the world’s leading leisure travel companies. The company’s entrance into the Gulf market has also been facilitated by a strategic partnership with Travco, a full-service DMC in the UAE and Oman.
Pacific World will have three offices in the region, located in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat. “As we continue our expansion into new markets, a presence in the Gulf was considered very important for Pacific World,” said Shaun Casey, the company’s Regional Director for the EMEA region. “The three cities will offer MICE visitors three very different experiences. Some key source markets will want the true, authentic feel of an Arabian destination and that’s Oman. There are others who want a modern, urban, fast-paced environment with excellent infrastructure and that’s Dubai. Abu Dhabi has a blend of both. This portfolio enables us to deliver a number of attractions.
