“KÖLNDÜSSELDORF – The Meetropolis” is one of the most popular destinations for international event planners. This is confirmed by the Meeting & Event Barometer 2012/2013 that was presented at the end of May in Frankfurt am Main at the IMEX, Germany’s leading trade fair for meeting and incentive travel. In the category “Metropolitan Regions”, the Meetropolis was the third most popular MICE destination in Germany, behind the regions of Munich and its environs, and Berlin/Potsdam. Compared with the previous year, the Meetropolis moved up one place, gaining a lead on the Rhine-Main region.
