Italy: plenty of events and entertainment

Italy as recently been ranked 6th in the ICCA annual ranking. That means that a large number of events are regularly being held in Italy. Why is that?

Italy‘s position as one of the top cultural destinations in the world is highlighted by the high number of unique UNESCO World Heritage sites and extensive offer of museums and similar institutions.
It is clear that Italy continues to have a very strong international brand.

But Italy is also known for its cuisine. Italian cuisine is characterized by its extreme simplicity, with many dishes having only four to eight ingredients. Italian cooks rely chiefly on the quality of the ingredients rather than on elaborate preparation. Ingredients and dishes vary by region. Many dishes that were once regional, however, have proliferated with variations throughout the country.

Most of corporate events and weddings are being held in Rome, Milan, Venice, Sardinia and Florence.
