Indian wedding in Cannes

The Kapoors — Jeetendra, Shobha, Ekta and Tusshar — were the first family to have confirmed their presence at the wedding of London-based couple Kimi and Pamela Grover’s son Kunal that is happening in Cannes this weekend. However, very soon the guest list from Bollywood increased and one heard that the Khans — Shah Rukh and Gauri and some of their friends were also headed to the same shaadi at the French Riviera. As were, the Kapoors — Rishi and Neetu. 

Suddenly, Jeetendra, Shobha and Ekta backed out for personal reasons, leaving only Tusshar behind to represent them.
While SRK was meant to fly to Cannes, one isn’t sure whether he actually made it in time for Kunal Grover’s nuptials. However, Gauri is there.

Ekta was in Goa for her friend Anita Hassanandani’s wedding. An insider whispered thatJeetendra and Shobha were certainly not in the mood to attend a wedding that had the Khans in such close proximity. The ‘Chennai Express’— ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’ embers haven’t died down completely.

However, on October 31, Jeetu and Shobha will celebrate their own wedding anniversary with both their children, Ekta and Tusshar.
