The general assembly (GA) is the premier annual North American Jewish conference, which brings together over 3,000 influential decision-makers from communities around the US, Canada, Israel and around the world.
The Jewish Federations have been meeting at General Assemblies for over 80 years to network, learn from each other and interface with world leaders. The annual assembly arrives at Israel once in every five years, and convenes at the ICC Jerusalem.
During the days of the assembly, thousands of leaders arrived at the center, representing over 150 federations and 400 independent Jewish communities from all over the USA and Canada. The attendants participated in networking meetings and different discussions on important current issues regarding the Jewish essence in Israel and in the world. A large exhibition was held at the entrance level, along with tens of panels and plenums with the participation of Israel’s prime minister and president, ministers and key figures from the worlds of business, philanthropy, culture and media.
