Eventia Awards honours success of events industry

The best of the best in the events industry were out to celebrate the Eventia Awards at the London Hilton Park Lane on 22 November.

The awards presented by comedian Alexander Armstrong saw Manchester Central win both the Best Corporate Responsibility Award and the Event Venue of the Year (Over 500 capacity), London & Partners director of business tourism and major events Tracy Halliwell was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award and Smyle won the Agency of the Year category (pictured).

Agency drpgroup scooped the overall Platinum Award, as well as Gold in the Low Cost Event Solution of the Year category (presented by sister publication Conference News editor Paul Colston) for its work for Chiltern Railways and received Gold in the Best Teambuilding Activity category for its work for ENRC.
