Czech capital gets its own showcase festival

Nouvelle Prague is the first ­ever showcasing festival in the Czech Republic, held on 1-2 November in the Staropramen Brewery in the heart of Prague. Our focus is on connecting bands with festival bookers, and connecting the Czech music industry with their international counterparts.  In our first year, we will feature emerging talent from UK, US, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and South Africa.  

Nouvelle Prague takes place in the fabulous premises of the famous Staropramen brewery in Prague´s Smichov district. The live shows will take place in two venues: the afternoon showcase programme will be held at the Phenomen Club in the basement of the brewery and the evening concerts will be in the brewery courtyard, under a large heated tent to keep out the winter chill.

Nouvelle Prague will be headlined by Lucy Rose (UK) and Dilated Peoples (US). Confirmed acts to showcase include: City Of Glass (CAN), Money For Rope (AUS), Local Foreigners (NZ/SAE/UK), Neon Windbreaker (CAN), Technical Kidman (CAN), Dorine Levy (ISRAEL), Little Suns (CAN) and Jeremy Loops (SA).
