Business travel delivered almost $2 billion to Queensland with 3.3 million business visitors to the state in the year to September 2013. The increase in revenue marks a rise of 8 per cent over the 12 month period compared with the previous year, with the number of business visitors rising 7 per cent, according to latest National Visitor Survey.
The state welcomed 18 million domestic visitors in total who spent more than $14 billion, a rise of 2 per cent and 6 per cent respectively.
