You could say it was a graveyard smash: To fete the launch of its Halloween wig collection by designer Chris March, Target staged its own version of a monster’s ball on September 26 at the Angel Orensanz Foundation for the Arts in New York.
The already macabre-looking venue, enhanced with faux cobwebs and pieces from the mass retailer’s own line of Halloween-theme products and home decor items, was transformed into a hip, haunted scene, as guests sipped cocktails garnished with plastic skeleton hands and posed for pictures with costumed drag queens and models wearing the comically oversize foam wigs from the former Project Runway contestant’s “Big Fun” line.
