3,500 expected to attend eye care conference

More than 3,500 visitors are expected to attend the Vision-X Dubai 2013 Optometry Conference, one of the Middle East’s most lucrative events for the regional and global optical and ophthalmic industry, which kicks off tomorrow (April 9).

The event, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, features a strong line-up of industry announcements, eyewear fashion and medical eye care with participation from top international and regional brands, a statement from the organisers said.

It offers networking opportunities for industry professionals and is a platform for exhibitors to showcase the latest medical and technical equipment and machinery as well as new innovations and developments in fashion eyewear and accessories.

85 exhibitors from 15 countries including China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Italy, Korea, Kuwait, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, UK, will take part in the event which will go on till April 11.
