South Korea, officially called the Republic of Korea, is located in the southern part of the Korean Peninsula. Its neighbors are China to the west, Japan to the east, and North Korea to the north. The capital and largest city is Seoul, with a population of 9.8 million.   South Korea is a great market for all kind of entertainment and offer a wide variety of entertainment options for all ages.   Koreans are avid cinema-goers and all of the country’s major cities have a number of cinemas showing a range of both Korean and English-language films. But Korea offers much more to children and families, including several theme major theme parks located in or just outside Seoul: Dreamland, Gem Land, Okpo Land, Everland and Lotte World.   Recently, a new type of TV show (Miracle Korea on JTBC) broadcasting acts and performers has been created. Similar to our «Got Talent» shows, this South Korean television show was mostly composed of Korean talents such as dancers, singers and comedians. Performances open 2013 Ha Long Carnival

The 2013 Ha Long Carnival opened on April 27 with an arts performance in the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh’s Ha Long City which was attended by local and regional leaders, as well as thousands of visitors.   This year’s theme is “The Colours of Quang Ninh – Convergence and Continuation”, featuring the traditional ethnic minority cultures.   The Dao ethnic group from Bang Ca Commune, Hoanh Bo District, performed folk dances at the carnival’s opening ceremony to ask the gods for fine weather, good health and a prosperous, fortunate life.   Scenic landscapes were also conjured through each song sung by famous local singers Ho Quynh Huong, Hoang Tung, Tan Nhan, and Ha Hoai Thu.   In addition to the opening ceremony, the carnival includes stage performances and a parade which attracted nearly 5,000 amateur and professional actors and actresses, as well as a number of art troupes from China, the Republic of Korea and Laos.   Source: http://english.vietnamnet.vn
