A team of 8 people flew to Cairo for the closing of the Cairo City Mall Festival. A great month with a brilliant team. The CANDY MANUFACTORY flew from France with their elegant costumes and music instruments. November is a crazy month for one of best shopping mall in Egypt. This shopping center located in Cairo has decided to celebrate its first anniversary by providing entertainment (shows and entertainers) every week to its customers. This shopping mall FESTIVAL CITY is not the only one in the world. It is in fact the “little brother” of the Dubai Festival City shopping center. The owner has decided to create the exact same one in Egypt. Even the trees and the roads that lead to the mall are the same! In Cairo, to celebrate the mall’s birthday, they decided to have performers and shows during the whole month of November. Our entertainment agency has been asked to come up with several ideas. We then provided various different acts that could attract and interest families. We made a short videoclip of one of theses weeks. On this short clip you can guess that we had our LIGHTING BUBBLE act from France and our SPARK caricaturist from Germany. They both worked 3 times each day for about 20 minutes. We just provided some great entertainment for a city mall festival that happened in Cairo, Egypt. The Cairo festival sets new standards as Egypt’s premier indoor-outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment destination, providing spectacular residential villas and luxurious apartments, as well as prime office spaces, together with internationally renowned hotels, international schools and automotive showrooms all set within a beautifully landscaped and tranquil community. For the occasion, our FRENCH SOAP BUBBLE ARTIST presented his bubble soap show for about 15 minutes. Middle Eastern destinations and suppliers will be in strong demand at the Americas Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition (AIBTM) in Orlando, Florida, in June. The three-day show, one of the primary meetings events in the whole of the Americas, is set to confirm the upswing in the region’s meetings business, with 3,000 expected visitors and more than 18,000 prescheduled appointments – a 20 percent increase on last year. For the Middle East, the numbers represent the opportunity of securing an increasing share of business from North America. Post-show research in 2013 revealed that Hosted Buyers wanted a greater North African and Middle Eastern exhibitor presence at AIBTM 2014, with Egypt, the UAE, Jordan, Qatar and Morocco singled out as destinations of genuine interest. Of the buyers polled, 60 percent said they placed orders in excess of US$600,000 as a direct result of their participation at the 2013 show.
