It is true that many theaters, festivals and amusement parks are coming out of the ground in different parts of the country. From Beijing in the North to Macau and Hong-Kong in the south, China is generally and completely changing. Already in 1995, our entertainment agency had the pleasure to put together a clown festival in Shenzhen for an amusement park. It was a great experience that we had the pleasure to renew for several years. We back then discovered how complicated it was to introduce our European humor in China. Several years later, we signed our first agreement with the Chinese National Television (CCTV). The first edition of the humor festival happened in 2008 in the Beijing studios. Back for its 3rd successful run, SBEW which began on 14 April has culminated in the opening of IT&CM China – the leading international MICE event in China. This seventh installment of IT&CM China sees 3,000 MICE professionals from sectors including DMCs, PCOs, corporate travel and associations, congregate to explore business, education and networking opportunities over the next 3 days. More than 3,500 visitors are expected to attend the Vision-X Dubai 2013 Optometry Conference, one of the Middle East’s most lucrative events for the regional and global optical and ophthalmic industry, which kicks off tomorrow (April 9). The event, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, features a strong line-up of industry announcements, eyewear fashion and medical eye care with participation from top international and regional brands, a statement from the organisers said.
