From time to time we are being called to organize entertainment or shows on boats. That is kind of a tricky request and not that easy to handle.
Nevertheless, the number of requests concerning yacht entertainment has lately drastically increased.
With experience, we have noticed that there are a bunch of yacht shows organized around the world. We know already about a few we have worked on such as: the Antibes Yacht Show, the Miami Yacht Show, Mumbai International boat show, Dubai International Boat Show, Cannes International Boat & Yacht show, Genoa International Boat Show, Barcelona International Boat Show and finally, the one we are used to assist to The Monaco Yacht Show.
It depends on the client we work with but as sometimes we are asked to organize some entertainment on the shore right to the boat, we are also asked from time to time to presents some acts on the boat itself!
The problem being that since these yachts are generally worth millions, there is not that many acts that we are able and willing to present.
So we have to find artists or acts that do not require too much space, too much height, and of course too much light. In other words, a great entertainment idea that would fit a small space area but that has visually a strong impact.
In the past, Talents & productions created some special shows for yachts launches. That was another story. Possibilities are unlimited since you have plenty space around the yacht. Nevertheless, owners usually ask not to touch the boat which is understandable when we know the price of these little toys.
On both of these shows the entertainment surrounding these yachts was great as we used very powerful lights, great water effects and of course a lot of talented artists.
As the summer is starting, we are already working on creating new yacht entertainment concepts with our creative team. The general idea is to go over these limits that these yachts impose us. Stay tuned to see our next creations.
