California‘s Napa Valley is getting a swank new retreat that will appeal to small, high-end corporate groups: The Luxury Collection will open Las Alcobas, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Napa Valley in the fall of 2015 after completing a multi-million dollar renovation that will transform the former Grandview Hotel & Spa.
The hotel sits on 3.4 acres and consists of the historic Acacia House, which was built as a private residence in 1907 and converted into a hotel in 1911, as well as several cottages that were added in the 1940s. The re-use project will reconfigure existing structures, preserve the architecture and add necessary modern touches to the guest rooms.
Las Alcobas will have 57 guest rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, a 3,500-square-foot spa and an outdoor pool. For corporate functions, the hotel will have 3,500 square feet of meeting space including a grand ballroom.
