Middle East: EcoCity World Summit bound for UAE

The biennial cross-disciplinary gathering of all involved in building sustainable cities, EcoCity World Summit, is coming to Abu Dhabi in 2015.

 

The organiser, Ecocity Conference Series Relay Committee (ECRC), awarded host status to the UAE capital after receiving what it has described as a “clearly outstanding proposal” from Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau (ADCB) in conjunction with the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD and Abu Dhabi Global Environmental Data Initiative (AGEDI). The bid also had the support of Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (ADNEC) and Etihad Airways.
